The Ten of Swords Tarot Meaning

The Ten of Swords is a card that shows us the result of not taking proper care of ourselves. It’s a very holistic card, showing us what can happen if we don’t take care of our mind, body and soul. Often, we think of self-care as eating right, exercising, maybe doing a face mask every now and again, but the Ten of Swords shows that it goes far deeper than that.

Like I mentioned in the Nine of Swords, the Ten gives us the aftermath of not heeding the early warning signs. Up to this point in the swords cycle, we’ve had plenty of opportunities to start putting ourselves first and prioritising our well-being, but for one reason or another, we have continued to power through.

Now, we have to face the consequences. Now we have to hit rock bottom in order to see what changes need to be made. Not just changes that you want to make, but changes that are necessary in order for you to be able to recover and continue on.
