I was reading a lot about the idea of 'Coming home

I was reading a lot about the idea of 'Coming home to yourself' which at first felt a lot like the whole "taking the lyrics of Defying Gravity and really holding space with that" and I wasn't fully sure what 'coming home to yourself' really meant.

But, then, when I really sat down and thought about it, 'held space for it' 😉, I realised that a large part of it is undoing learned behaviours that are causing us harm or stopping us from feeling completely like ourselves.

A large part of what I found was around inner child healing and a better understanding of how trauma in childhood can prevent us from becoming the adults we were actually destined to be. So, you have to build an awareness around how your past has shaped you and be able to recognise when instincts that take you in the wrong direction are being fueled by these past events.

Effectively, to come home to yourself is a bit like drawing up a new roadmap to help you get back to where you're supposed to be. Tarot is something I'll be using a lot of to explore this in more detail, but I thought I'd share my musings with you to see what you think about the idea of 'coming home to yourself', so what does it mean to you?

I was learning a lot about the effects of repressed creativity and I work a lot with Tarot reading clients running their own creative businesses so this felt like the perfect topic for this week’s Substack.

Currently I’m trying to create weekly posts, just because I really love writing and have been neglecting it. It also gives me a space to work out my own jumbled ideas and philosophies around Tarot.
