The Five of Wands Tarot Meaning

The Five of Wands is a card of conflict and challenges. It’s the first time in the Wands suit where we are faced with the result of too many things happening all at once. Because wands are a suit all about action and reaction, the fine line tread between chaos and order is very thin. This is especially true when it comes to matters that involve many differing opinions or passions.

The Five of Wands is a card that needs diffusing. All that energy and movement need to be tempered in order to get a better handle on things. A lot like trying to be heard in an argument where everyone is shouting over each other. It might take something different or unique to break through the noise, temper those passions and find a way to cut through the noise in order to resolve problems and move forward.

It can often take a lot of bravery and confidence to step up and be the person to cut across the noise, but it only takes one, just like how it only takes one person to speak out against injustice to start a whole movement.
